The Call to Become Spiritual Earthlings

The Call to Become Spiritual Earthlings

with Diarmuid O’Murchu

Diarmuid O’Murchu

In this four-week program, Diarmuid will revisit the notion of the Great Spirit, borrowed from the spirituality of First Nations people in Canada and universally. He will go on to explore the implications in terms of critical issues today around care for our earthly creation, calling all Christians to a new sense of religious identity, not through escape from this creation (for salvation hereafter), but through a deeper commitment to the work of justice, in our capacity as spiritual Earthlings.

Father Diarmuid O’Murchu is a member of the Sacred Heart Missionary Order, and a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin Ireland, is a social psychologist most of whose working life has been in social ministry, predominantly in London, UK. FAQs

  • How many people per class?

While we can accomodate as many attendees as needed in our online seminars, some seminars are limited in numbers due to facilitator / speaker requests. Where numbers are larger than normal, breakout groups may be created to allow for small group discussion and exercises.

  • How do I pay?

Links are provided to the Shopping Cart / Payment Gateways on the Course page.

  • Can I view a class on my phone?

As we use Zoom Conferencing software, most recent Smartphones allow for Zoom Streaming to cell phones. If you would prefer to call in via non-video access, Zoom links include call in phone numbers.
