Earth Charter - Choosing our Future
Earth Charter - Choosing our Future
Diarmuid O’Murchu
“We stand at a critical moment in Earth’s history, a time when humanity must choose its future.” These are the opening words of the Earth Charter and certainly speak to our time and place in history. This document is an international declaration of fundamental values and principles and provides core ethical values attuned to an interdependent world. These two interactive sessions will provide an overview of the charter and the opportunity to reflect on how it might be a blueprint for what our world needs today.
